This is made from 100% domestic wheat and 100% domestic pearl barley. The unique and natural dark violet color that derives from Hime-mochi barley is the character and feature of the product.
It is made in an old-fashioned way with a lot of care for detail, using clear water from Yatsugatake Highland South Foothill area. It has a squishy texture and is rich in dietary fibre.
This product is the first semi dried Pearl barley Udon noodles made from 100% domestic wheat in Japan.
